Read the whole article instead of the snippet
When a feed sends only a paragraph and a "read more" link, Inoreader can load the whole article into the reader. Search, translation and text-to-speech then work on all of it.

- ProPro keeps the loaded content stored with the article.
Read the whole article in Inoreader
Many publishers put only the first paragraph of an article into their feed. With full content, Inoreader fetches the rest and shows it in the reader's own view, with the layout and font you chose.
A clean reading view
Inoreader keeps the text, headings, pictures and links and leaves out the menus and ads.
Full content on request
Inoreader loads the whole article only when you click Load full content. It does not fetch whole articles from publishers' sites in advance.
Stored copies on Pro
On Pro, the loaded content is stored with the article, so you can search it and read it offline in the apps.
Translation, speech and summaries
Translation, text-to-speech, summaries, rules and digests use the full text.
Load the full article
- Open an article that shows only a snippet and click Load full content. The whole article appears in place.
- Read the article like any other. You can translate it, listen to it, search it or send it on.
- On Pro, the full text stays with the article, so you can find it later with search and read it offline.
Use cases
Reading feeds that cut articles short on purpose
Many newspapers and magazines put only a paragraph in their feeds. Load the full content and read their articles whole, in the reader's layout.
Reading every source in one layout
Read every source with the same font, width and night mode, instead of a different site design for each article.
Keeping an archive you can rely on
With Pro, an article you saved in March still opens in full in September, even if the publisher has moved it since then.
Frequently asked questions
Why do some feeds show only a snippet?
Because the publisher chose to put a summary and a link in the feed, so that you visit the site. Inoreader's full content view fetches the article from the page and shows it in the reader instead.
How do I load the full article?
Open the article and click Load full content. Inoreader loads full articles only this way, one article at a time and only when you ask for it.
Does it keep the pictures and formatting?
Yes. Inoreader keeps the article's text, headings, pictures and links, and leaves out the ads, the menus and the rest of the page.
Is the full content kept?
On Pro, yes. The loaded content is stored with the article, so it stays available, you can search it and you can read it offline. On Free, the content is loaded when you open the article.
Do other features work on the full text?
Yes. Search, translation, text-to-speech, summaries, rules and digests all work on the loaded article, not on the snippet.
Does Inoreader copy publishers' full articles automatically?
No. Inoreader shows what the publisher put in the feed. The full article is loaded only when a reader clicks Load full content on that article, and never in advance for a whole feed.
Does it work for every site?
It works for most sites. Pages behind a paywall, or pages that Inoreader cannot extract the article from, come back as the snippet with a link.
