Follow any website, even without a feed

Point Inoreader at a page and pick the part you want to follow, and new items arrive as they do in any feed. You can also watch one part of a page and get an article each time it changes.

Creating a web feed in Inoreader: paste a website address, select the elements, preview and follow

Follow sites that have no feed

If a page has no RSS feed, create a web feed for it. Inoreader loads the page in a browser, and you click the list you want to follow. To check first whether a site already has a feed, paste its address into the free RSS feed finder.

Lists from any page

Follow headlines, posts, products or listings. Every new entry arrives as an article with its title, link, text and picture.

Pages that need JavaScript

Sites that render their content with JavaScript are handled the same way.

Track changes

Watch one area of a page, such as a price, a stock message, a schedule or a paragraph of terms. Each time it changes, an article arrives showing the change.

Change alerts

With a rule, a change reaches you as a push notification, an email or a message in a Team channel, Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Create a web feed

  1. Open Add feed and choose Web feed or Track changes.
  2. Paste the page address and load it. Inoreader shows you the page.
  3. For a web feed, click the list of items you want to follow. Inoreader marks what it recognized and shows you the resulting feed. For track changes, click the area of the page you want to watch.
  4. If the preview is not what you meant, adjust the selection. Then create the feed.
  5. Add a rule if a new item or a change should reach you or your team right away.

Use cases

Competitors without feeds

Follow a competitor's press room, pricing page and release notes as three feeds, and add a rule that forwards anything new to the product team's channel.

Prices and availability

Watch a product page for its price or its "in stock" message, and get an alert the moment it changes.

Listings that matter to you

Many people check pages such as job boards, tenders, event calendars, public notices, course catalogs and grant programs by hand every week. Turn those pages into feeds, and they tell you about new entries on their own.

Use a web feed like any other feed

Web feeds and track-changes feeds are both feeds, so folders, filters, rules, search, tags and digests work on them too.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get an RSS feed for a website that has none?

Create a web feed. Paste the page's address, let Inoreader load it, and click the part of the page that lists the items you want, such as the headlines, the posts or the products. Inoreader builds a feed from them and checks the page for new items from then on.

Can I get notified when a web page changes?

Yes. Create a track-changes feed for the page and select the part you want to watch. Each time its text or appearance changes, an article arrives in the feed showing what changed. A rule can turn that article into a push notification, an email or a message to your team.

What kinds of pages work?

Listings of any kind work, including news sections, blogs without feeds, job boards, event calendars, product and pricing pages, press rooms, release notes, documentation pages and public notices. Pages that build their content with JavaScript are loaded in a browser first.

What is the difference between a web feed and track changes?

A web feed follows a list on a page and gives you each new entry as an article. Track changes watches one area of a page and gives you an article each time that area is different from the last time.

How often is the page checked?

Pages are checked on the same schedule as other feeds, and feeds that change often are checked more often. You can also refresh a feed by hand at any time.

How many web feeds do I get?

The Pro plan includes 20 web feeds and track-changes feeds combined, and you can get more as an add-on. Team and Team Intelligence plans include them, pooled across the whole team.
